Spreading the word.
Just mentioning our mission and or starting a conversation about our mission brings new contacts to us: people who can help us, people who need help, or people whose agencies and organizations have much to gain by a partnership with us.
Volunteering.
We always need people who will help to pick up shoes or drop off shoes to service agencies. Help is always needed for washing shoes in industrial washers and shelving them; clerical help with newsletters and the website; brainstorming and organizing fundraisers; contacting schools, churches, and service organizations to initiate shoe drives.
Donating money.
Grants, and fundraisers are very important to keeping our mission alive. Changing Footprints is renovating an historic brick building that will become our permanent home. Modified to suit our needs, it will allow us to operate with more productivity and greater efficiency than ever before. If you are able to make a generous donation, please do so. Perhaps you know someone who would be interested in supporting our mission or where there may be corporate funding or grants available. We would be grateful for any financial information that might be helpful.
Providing Supplies.
There are many supplies necessary to keep our mission running. If you have the opportunity to pick up something extra for Changing Footprints, we would be very appreciative for any of the following:
Copy paper Disinfectant Spray (Lysol)
Clear Packing Tape Laundry Detergent
Black Magic Markers Bleach
Lg. Packs of Lg. Rubber Bands Clorox Wipes
CD’s (RW) Paper Towels
